THINGS I LEARNED AND SEEN IN AFRICA

Zanzibar is the island of cats. Saw no dogs except two puppies that was carried around by a guy

  • Tanzania in general seemed to be a more of a cat country, almost no dogs

  • Goats are everywhere!

  • Tanzania: Saw a lot of men/boys but not that many women/girls – where are they? 🤔

  • Tanzania: For being a Muslim country, I saw a lot of churches and no mosques travelling on the road.

  • Tanzania: Saw no pigs -> Because they are Muslims?

  • Tanzania: Unusual clean roads

  • Malawi: More dogs here

  • Malawi: Good roads – to some extent ^^

  • Malawi: The women do the hard labour while men either fishing or chilling under a tree

  • Malawi: Carlsberg seems to be the beer here

  • Malawi: A lot of water pumps for fresh water

  • Felt very safe were we were

  • Friendly people!

  • Kids running beside/after the bus yelling and waving 🙂

  • Johannesburg is dangerous – listen to people ^^ (though we didn’t experience anything, you could feel it)
