HERE WE GO, KENYA AWAITS!

The day started early as the alarm clock rang 3:45. We said goodbye to the cats and got picked up by my lovely father Lars that also got up this early.

We arrived in good time for the check in of the bags, but when opening my carrier bag I realised that the wrong computer was packed 😱 In addition to that, Tobias realised that he forgotten to time report and didn’t remember the log in. Lars had already left but we called him and he picked up both mine and Tobias computer and returned to the airport. In the car Tobias tried to log in but of course the computer died of low battery. We didn’t want to bring two computers so in the end we decided that Lars will help with the log ins at another time.

When the computer was changed and we have gone through the security, we could finally relax. We bought some snacks and a tiny breakfast in hope that we would get more on the flight – we did not 😅 The flight to Frankfurt was fine, no snacks so that was a bummer 😝

Now we are waiting for our flight that will take us to Nairobi. It was said to arrive at 21:15, but now our flight is apparently late. So we hope that our guide David which will pick us up and take us to our hotel, doesn’t need to wait too long. Apparently this is a fancy hotel which is a little different what I’m used to. I even need to practice to not say (and write) ”hostel” 😅

When we arrive at our hotel the plan is to go out and see if we can find an local restaurant (or pub if we are full from the flight food from the flight) 🍻
