KUTA, GILI T, KUTA LOMBOK – INDONESIA
My first day I spent in Bali was in the city Kuta. I just took the day to walk around and decide what to do. On my walk I met an Argentinean that was going to surf, decided to meet up after to eat. After the lunch we took his bike to a place where we just hung by the beach.
The day after I went to Gili T. I got a ”nice surprise” when the pick up came at 7:00 when I was told it was supposed to be 8:30. I stood in my pyjamas when they came! Super surprised an suddenly I needed to throw everything into my backpack and rush out to the bus.. When I arrived to Gili T I went to my hostel where I met a guy from Germany and a guy from Holland. We decided to go to the beach together. We also, together with some other people, went to check out the nightlife. In the morning/lunch time we went to just chill by the beach and saw the sunset on the other side of the island. I went to bed quite early. Was nice. Layed in bed and saw a GoT episode
The morning after a girl from Holland and I went to Kuta Lombok which is another island.
When we arrived we decided to rent scooter and did a small roadtrip. Really missed going on a scooter, it is really nice. You got the wind in your hair, sun in your skin and you can decide wherever you want to go 🙂 – a little difficult with driving on the left side though 😝
Next day we went to a traditional village where we could see how they lived, worked and things like that. Really nice. After that we randomly stoped at a village by the road and went in. The girl I was with could speak a little Balsa Indonesia so sat down with some people from the village. You could see that where very poor. Then, after we left the village, the electricity apparently went out on the whole island and that made us quite handicapped. We had some things we needed to do, but we ended up going to a restaurant just to hang out. On the evening we went to a place for drinking some cocktails and talk. Went home quite early. I was about to go back to Bali so I needed to go up early x)
