EUA, TONGA

This day started early in the morning. The boat was supposed to go at 11, but apparently it can also go at nine, if they feel like it.. 😆 So we went to the boat terminal at nine, just in case but this time it departed at 11 – of course.. x) When we arrived and got settled I wanted to check with the tour place that I wanted to join. I got escorted by two boys, and one stared at me almost the whole way (which was short, but still!). Couldn’t do any small talk because their English seemed very limited 😝 When I arrived I talked to the owner and decided to do the tour the same day – almost directly 😝
Two more people joined and we set off! We started by driving to a lookout, but the road there was very muddy so one time, the Canadian and I sat in the back just to set some weight – didn’t work x) It ended with him jumping out of the car and actually push the car. Luckily that he was a very strong person! ^^ The look out was amazing! You could see almost everything from there! After the lookout we walked to a place called Rat Cave (which does not have rats, only looks like a rat hole ^^). The guide told us that the Canadian guy should go first, but not why – very limited English ^^ Then the Australian girl, they disappeared while I was talking with the guide. After a while he said I could go in. It was very low and narrow, but when I arrived to the end I saw a hole and understood why the Canadian needed to go first.. The distance down to the ground was quite high and I couldn’t really go down myself. I sat on the edge trying to get a grip with my shoes on the side, but he just told me to slide down and he would catch me.! Normally I would have hesitated, but this guy was quite ”buff” so I trusted him.. 😆 He caught me and put me down on the ground ^^ This place was amazing! So after walking through the cave and down the hole we came to a new cave overlooking the most amazing view! We were quite lucky that we had that guy, because not all groups can go down without help 😮

After the cave we got to see the Ovava Tree! It is said that this tree is the inspiration to the holy tree in Avatar. It was very cool! You could see it from distance, but also climb around inside it 😁

Later we went to the Stone Garden and saw the wild horses and stopped by an amazing view point! Very steep fall down and my guide told me to go further when he saw me hesitate 😆

After that we took a little hike to the stone archway. Also very beautiful!

After this it was time to head home. And then I ended up at a school show! Very nice! They where very talented 🙂 I also got some traditional clothing to fit in more ^^

A funny parenthesis is that I got a message from my mum that Bumbledore, one of my cats, had chewed on my bra. My mum send a picture of it to show which one. A little boy (that sat beside me to the side) got so shocked and pointed at my phone. They are VERY conservative here. But I thought it was funny so I showed him and some other kids the picture. They got shocked and giggled ^^
