DAY 11 – TSAVO WEST TO TSAVO EAST

This night was not a very good night. We had a very thick blanket and one (?) mosquito that was feasting on us all night. I have had some allergic reactions from the day before and got some new ones today. Luckily I have antihistamine cream from the trip before so they seem to calm down now 😅

Today we went from Tsavo West to Tsavo East which are divided by a road. We haven’t gone far before we stumbled on some wild dogs just laying in the sun. These animals are very rare, so we were very lucky! 🤠

On the way to the lodge we saw some elephants having a great time by a water pipe that was leaking.

On the evening we there was time for a game drive again. In the beginning it was little to no animals as we drove around. When the sun started to go down we started to see animals. Eg. jackals that was drinking from a puddle and lions sleeping while the babies playing around 🦁

The day ended with dinner and an early bedtime, because tomorrow we are waking up and most likely a late night celebrating my birthday with our new friends from Masai Mara 🥰
