VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE

This day we woke up in the middle of Chobe National Park, but this time no curious elephants. We ate breakfast, packed our tents and left for safari back to the other camp site. This time we didn’t see as much animals like the day before, but we saw jackals that was playing around, some sleepy lions, elephants, impalas and a lot of different birds.

The border crossing to Zimbabwe was smooth but a little slow maybe. The drive to our last camp site was short and we had a little more than half the day to do stuff. Some of us from the group decided to grab some lunch before we headed to the falls. It was very warm so when we sat down for lunch and all of us loved the open up area which sprayed some kind of mist to cool the place down 😎

After the lunch we were so full but we went for a small walk to the entrance to the falls. It was super warm, we were melting and there was not much shade on the way 🥵 As we got in we bought a cool bottle of water, but sculled that one after just some meters.. 😝

The waterfall was really nice and there was a nice rainbow! Still super warm, but here the water splashed up on the walking trail – can’t say that I complained 😁

When we came back to the camp site we jumped into the pool and just hung out there for a while, until it was time for dinner. We booked a table at the restaurant where we had our last dinner together. It was nice 🙂
