FIRST ”REAL DAY” OF THE TOUR

The day started early when our guide picked us up at 7. This day is the transportation day to Ashnil Samburu Camp. After about 2h drive we stopped for snacks and a souvenir shop. To support the local community we decided to buy something small. When it came to the payment he said it costs 1200kr (~$150)! Crazy expensive for something small! We accidentally haggled the price down to 250kr ($31) 😅

After a six hour drive we arrived at our lodge. We had some time before our game drive, so we ate lunch and took a dip in the pool. That was so nice, the weather here is so warm.

At 16:00 we were ready and took the car out for some safari. We saw loads of animal and we manage to see the ”Special five” as they call it in this park. Don’t remember the name but it was a special ostrich, special zebra, ”giraffe antelope” (😆) and two more. We also saw a lion, giraffes, elephants and lots more birds and grass eating animals 🤓

After a three hour drive in the park we took a smal rest with a local beer and waited for the dinner. The dinner was superb and we ended the evening with a drink with local spirits 🙂
