NADI, FIJI
When I arrived to the hostel the time was around 19 and I planned to join the Kava Ceremony again. But when I left all my stuff and went to the place where they should be, there where no one sitting there. I figured that it was not 19 Fiji time, and went to bed instead (didn’t wanted to wait ^^).
In the dorm I met an Australian guy with a real thick accent. It was quite funny. He stood and turned the light on and off. I was thinking ”what is he doing?”. He then said that he couldn’t turn the light off over his bed. He then climbed up on his bed and started to pull out the strip light and I was thinking to myself ”eeemm.. should he do that..?” He turned and probably saw my face because he said: ”It is ok, I’m an electrician”. We started to talk and later a Scottish guy joined and we just hung out in the dorm for several hours. They where super nice and fun. A nice ending for the day actually.
The next day (which is today) I woke up at 7, which I seem to do every day now 😮. The weather seems not so good today and I heard that it will rain. It also rained a lot during the night. Today I’m thinking going in to town and walk around before I’ll take my flight to Vanuatu. The bad thing is that I need to carry my bags, but hey, if it’s raining maybe it is not that bad? ^^
I will actually try to find a sweater, because it is cold here sometimes – who knew?? Also aircon in busses or other places is killing me.. x) Let’s see if I can find something 🙂
Also, the mosquito bites hasn’t disappeared (especially on my face) so I will try to see if I can find an antihistamine cream. So bad that I’m not allowed to buy it in Sweden… 😮
