HALONG AND LAN HA BAY, VIETNAM

After arriving with the night bus from Sa Pa, I had some hours before my bus to Cat Ba Island arrived. I had heard that you could sleep on the bus until 6:00 but apparently not this bus. 4:00 I was walking the streets of Hanoi. I taged along with some people from Spain and Costa Rica (so I didn’t walk by my self). Went with them to their hostel and sat down and sowed on my Vietnamese patch while they where sleeping. Around 6:00 I decided to go out and try to find somewhere to eat breakfast. Later I went with the bus which was really nice. Air-con and Wi-Fi! I arrived to my hostel and started to look for different tours i could do. Took a walk to city centre, but apparently walked wrong and got picked up by a nice German guy that took me on his scooter to the center. The center was a little to busy and crowded for my taste, but I got a nice tour for a good price so I was happy 🙂

I met a woman from Netherlands when I sat down to eat dinner. We also went to take a smoothy and see the sunset. After, when I was about to go home I met my Spanish and Costarician friends who invited me in to drink some beers. It was really nice and we had the best view. The only problem was that it was only one person which spoke English so I really needed to practice my bad Spanish x) went surprisingly well ^^ I had a good time 🙂

Next day at 7:30 they picked me up from my hostel and drove to the boat. The tour started in Lan Ha Bay witch was super nice and beautiful. Later it continued to Halong Bay where we stoped for a swim. Everyone jumped from the deck into the green water 🙂 Then it was lunch time where we got a big buffet of different kinds of food. To bad I am a vegetarian, not as much to chose from x)

Later we continued to cruse the different islands and stoped for kayaking. We kayaked trough different caves (which in my eyes are tunnels ^^). We also did a stop for snorkel too 🙂

Before we came back to port we had the time to see the sunset. Super happy with my trip 🙂
