Going Home - Day 21/22

Because we had a very late flight, we had a whole day left in New Orleans. We began with a slow morning and checked out at 11. Then we took a small walk to a place called Mother's Restaurant that we had passed the day before.

After lunch, we took the car to an old slave plantation. When the tour was done, we still had a lot of hours left. We then went to a shopping mall and took two cheesecake peaces to share at Cheasecake Factory - in hindsight, we should definitely only have ordered one 😅

When we felt like we were done, we still had a lot of hours left but decided to go to the airport anyway. We went to fill up the cars tank but got stuck in traffic - so lucky us we had a lot of time to spare 😆 The car was easy to return and after a bus ride to the bagage drop we were ready to go home.

While inside the airport, we tried the last famous fast food restaurants we heard of and just walked around to burn those calories 😆 The flight to London was on time and even earlier than expected. But the second flight that took us to Göteborg was not. We were supposed to have 4h layover, but because of the late flight, we needed to wait 1h more.

When we finally got to Göteborg all we wanted to do was to go home and sleep. We landed around 20:30 but didn't get our luggage until 1h later. When we had our bags, we met up with my father that so kindly picked us up and drove us home ❤️
