BEER, ONSEN AND DINNER

Today was a great day! After school I went to for a beer and headed for a onsen (sorry, don’t remember the name). Would love to show you guys pictures, but hey, it is quite weird to take pictures of naked people! ^^ But the onsen was beautiful and had a somewhat older design. The water was really warm and you felt like you where cooked for a dinner x)

Yeey! New friends 🙂

Borrowed some pictures 🙂

After the onsen we headed to a restaurant that you sort of can say is a Japanese tapas place, so you just order a lot of small dishes and when you are full and happy, you pay. A lot of meat, hard to be a vegetarian here 😆
After, we went for a desert and bought something that I of course don’t remember the name of but it was some kind of ”sugary” deep fried maple leave – interesting and very lokal- Actually so local that you can only buy it in one store..

This is some random things that I learned so far about Japan:

  • Childbirth is made with no painkiller or similar

  • It cost for Japanese people to send smileys

  • Japan is more sexist than you probably think

  • Japanese people just study one year of speaking English (if you don’t add it or something)

  • They are allowed to deny you if you are white or a foreigner

  • It is the golden week this week and this means that the Japanese have holiday. This was (probably) because the government thought the Japanese people worked to much and needed days off

  • There are three kinds of beer; ordinary beer, beer mixed with vodka and one more. They are kind of beer, but not really. They do that to avoid taxes

  • Whiskey and other liqueur is REALLY (!!!!) cheap. Like ridiculously cheep. Almost as same as a can of beer, and then I’m not talking about small bottles….. 😮 (saw a 4l ”bottle”)

Have probably heard more but these are the once that I remember.. ^^
