AN INTERESTING RIDE TO THE HOSTEL

So, I knew that I would arrive late and probably need to take a taxi for a long way. So when I talked to a taxi driver he says 8000 VUV which is around 660SEK. I said to them that it was very expensive and they lowered it with 1000. I said that it still was a lot and they lowered it with 1000 more. I told them then that I’ll give them 5000 and after me repeating myself some times they said ok. We went to the car and after a while he told me that he needed to pick up his kids and refuel (because the trip will take a while). The kids where not at the place they should be so he drove home and later to church where they was. He picked up like four kids and then drove to the gas station. He asked me if I wanted something to eat. I was curious how it looked inside, so I went in. Brought my bag, because otherwise I would be screwed if they left.. x)

Later we were in the car again and on our way! He was super friendly and told me a lot of stuff about Vanuatu. He one time told me that I was brave, and I thought for myself ”yes, because I am travelling by myself”, but he continued ”because people are afraid and says it is dangerous” -> is it dangerous?? But then he told me that it’s not, so I guess it is ok… 😆

We arrived around 20:30 and everything was completely dark, he told me that the view was really good, so I had to take his word for it. They turned off the WiFi at 21, so I went to bed. The bed was covered in mosquito net, which is nice! Especially for me.. 😝
