BEACHOUSE, FIJI

Because I arrived quite late with the bus yesterday, I slept to around 8 and went to the complimentary breakfast. This was a proper breakfast! They had both cereals, muesli, toast, whole grain bread and fruits. I thought I eat a lot and I will be set the whole day until dinner 😁

I also tried to book a shark dive that I could do early in the morning next day but it was fully booked.. I couldn’t book an ordinary dive either, because I need to consider the ”24h rule” that says that you shouldn’t dive and then fly within 24h. So no dive for me this trip..

I decided to do a hike to a waterfall and I was ready at the said time, but after 1h waiting I actually gave up. He seemed to have disappeared. I went and changed to other clothes and went to the beach. I just stood and watched and listened to the waves for a while. Then I also jumped into the water (and it felt warm, for the first time in a long time!) to do some snorkelling. It was nothing to see, but the beach was beautiful 😝

After I dried up I decided to do a 1h coconut oil massage. It was really nice! The lady was lovely and it felt like I was massaged by Mama Fiji or something ^^

I dried up a little in the sun and later ate complementary ”scones” and tea. When I sat there a guy came to me and asked if I wanted to do a sunset horse ride. I’m usually sceptical when people come up to me and tries to sell something.. But because things didn’t really happen as I planned today I thought ”why not?”. The ride was very nice! Was climbing a little to get a view of the ocean and also walked alongside the beach as the sun was setting. There were also a small sprint on the beach 🙂
