WAIT WHAT??
Am I travelling again? It hasn’t landed yet, and I’m leaving tomorrow.. x)
This time it will be Fiji, Vanuatu and Tonga. Not the first countries you think of when you hear backpacking. But I thought ”hey, why not check it out?”. I have been to Hawaii (twice) and French Polynesia, and I like the culture so I thought that these countries should be nice too 🙂
This time will ”only” be one month, but if you have a job I think it is harder to have a longer trip – Maybe if you maximize it with the last week and some hard worked overtime hours, but I’m thinking of Africa this winter so I save them 🙂
Yes, I will travel by myself this time too. Or it depends how you look at it, I will sleep in dorms as usual so I will meet people there. I don’t know about the backpacking culture though, it is not as big as in e.g. Asia so we will see!
WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
The itinerary for this trip is that I will actually go with the train from Gothenburg to Copenhagen where I will take my flight to Doha where I will stay for a little more than an hour and then take my flight to Singapore. -here is when it gets interesting- When I land in Singapore I maybe need to check out and check in again (bought two separate tickets, one to Singapore and back and one direct fright to Fiji – So much cheaper! 10k SEK ). I contacted Singapore Airport and they told me that I only needed to go to a service desk and they recheck my bag. Super convenient! IF it works, because I’m sceptical. Not much goes smoothly when I travel.. 😝 Anyway.. I have little more than 5h there so either way I think I’m fine. After that I will have a 10h flight to Fiji!
While in Fiji I will go to Yasawa Islands to a little place called Kuta Island for 4 nights. After that I will go to the main island and take a flight to Vanuatu and a flight to a Island called Espiritu Santo and stay there 5 nights. Later I will stay 3 nights on the main island. After that it will go to Tonga and spend 10 days at the main island. What will happen there is very open, but one thing I know is that I will swim with Humpback Whales! 😍 Lastly I will stay 3 nights at Fiji’s main island before I head home 🙂

Eehh.. I haven’t started yet.. I hoped everything I need was still in the bag – it wasn’t.. x) It will be fine though. I will wash my clothes today and pack.
Around 11 tomorrow I will go to the train station and take my train to Copenhagen Airport and let the adventure begin!
