Key West to Miami, Florida - Day 5

Because of an early night yesterday, we woke up quite early, checked out and started to drive to Miami. While on the road we saw a smoking tyre which had JUST come of a truck on the other side of the road and hit three cars 😱

First stop, brunch at the same place as we were on the way down, just so we could drink that delicious Key Lime Colada 🤤 And now I sort of know how to do it: dark rum, Key lime liquor and ice cream/milkshake which must be something with coconut 🍹We also heard about a local brewery that you need to visit. We were not very keen on drinking more beer today but decided to go there and check it out. After sharing and tasting some local beer, we decided to buy and bring some on the rest of the trip.

Just before we entered Miami, we decided to stop by a Walmart just to see how it is and tick one item on our "must do's". After too much time there we were back on the road. The check-in was easy, and when we were done, we went for a swim in the pool. After showering and some slow time in the apartment, we headed out for dinner.

The dinner was not the best, but it was cheap at least 😅 The night ended with a stroll around in Beyside Marketplace and downtown and some sofa time and TV watching
