KUATA BAREFOOT, FIJI – DAY 3
This is my third day and it started with a nice breakfast and some morning snorkelling. It was nice, and there were more fish than I expected! Today my German friend left for another island same with an other German and British girl which I also been talking to. So this day a needed to say goodbye. When I was sitting in the shadow I realised that there was a guy doing some sort of Fiji dance. Tried to film it, sorry for the unsteady hand..
I went for a walk along the beach. Saw a baby shark swimming around. Also this bright blue starfish:
After this I was just hanging around chilling in the shadow until lunch. During the lunch I see the other German girl that I also thought had left (she was leaving in the afternoon). I asked if she wanted to join the small hiking that you can do here, and she did. The funny part of this was that I went to the reception and asked where the trail starts, they told me then to go to the bar an ask for Sami and he will be our local guide. Really nice actually. The island furthest away is the island where they filmed Cast Away with Tom Hanks 🙂
We did some climbing to get to these spots. When we got back I went for a swim and just sat in the water and splashed around ^^
They came with a boat with some things they needed. They seem to have a pretty good technique for unloading ^^
Later today it will be dinner and I have no plans to stay up late. For not doing that much, I’m always quite tired.. 😝
